If you find yourself in a position where you may want to take a break from trading, you may want to change your account status. At markets.com closing your account is as easy as opening one and can be done in just a few simple steps.

Here, we will guide you through the steps needed to close your markets.com account smoothly:

Step 1: Choose your preferred method to contact our support team.

  • Option 1: Email
    Send an email to support@markets.com.
  • Option 2: Phone
    Visit the markets.com "Contact Us" page to find the phone number for your local region.
  • Option 3: Live Chat
    Access the markets.com website or app and look for the live chat icon or link.
  • Option 4: Online Query Form
    Fill out the online query form available on the markets.com website.

Step 2: Let the support team know that you would like to close your markets.com account indicating the reason where possible. Be sure to mention the email address associated with your login details.

Step 3: Check your email inbox for confirmation that the account closure has been completed.

Please note that due to Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations we are legally obligated to keep your account information on file for a minimum of 7 years. This is done to protect you and everyone in the markets.com ecosystem from illegal activity.
